We are extatic by the performance of our Shotokan-ZA Team in our 1st online kata competition, the OTW Online World Championships for 5-6 Sep 2020! This event was hosted by Mr Chirs Galea, from the Mediterranean Karate Alliance (MKA) in Malta.
“Off our 38 competitors who competed, 9 were medalists and 18 placed in the top 10 of their divisions in this International All Styles Championship! An amazing achievement seeing, that all training was done at home via ZOOM! As an instructor and coach this makes me very proud of the students’ commitment and perseverance they have shown!”, said Sensei Mari du Preez, National Coach.
